The purpose of this course is to provide students with essential computing and information technology concepts and skills essential for the 21st century. Throughout the course, students will cultivate age-appropriate computing and ICT competencies, along with practical skills that align with their developmental stage. With the help of Mr. Red and his shape friends, students will learn how to use word processing and presentation applications, differentiate between input and output devices, learn basic keyboard skills, conduct basic troubleshooting steps, recognize basic symbols of technology, recognize and apply various ways of switching off a device, practice good ergonomics, protect themselves online, managing their digital footprint, represent data in various graphs and tables formats, perform basic searches, and create simple programs using block-based languages.
